The deceased leaves five small children. Litchfield Papers please copy. 'Tis hard to die in spring time, when all nature is bursting forth in beauty; when the flowers which were so watchfully nurtured were opening to bloom. To thus, untimely, see a sister, the lovely jewel of our youthful days, ever faithful, ever true, fade away amid the warbles of the forest songster, from the beauties of the opening flowers and fresh green fields, doth seem to swell our cup of sorrow full to bursting nigh. But 'tis appointed unto man, once to die, and t'would be well with them if all could see as she did see, just as the spirit fled, and thus exclaim as her last words--'The Gates are Opening.'"
