( Line 641, 1850 Federal Census of Allegan, Barry and Berrien Counties, Michigan, Family History Library film 14,808.) 1860 CENSUS: He was 12 in the 1860 census. His name was quite garbled in the 1850 census. It almost looks like a male named Frencin. However, he obviously was the same Frank who lived in the household in 1860, was 12 years old, and was clearly named Frank. NILES, BERRIEN, MICHIGAN 1850 CENSUS: Division No. 10, Berrien, Michigan. D.B. Cook is 25, a printer with 2,500 value placed on his real estate. Jane M. is 31, both born Conn. Their children are Francis or Frank (a male) age 3; Jane M, eight months, both born in Michigan. There are three boarders, all listed as printers, but unrelated.
