Note | BIRTH: Listed on the 1850 Census as three years old, born in Michigan. RESEARCH Probably not Eliza's and Salmon's child. In "The Life and History of Phineas Wolcott Cook," published by the PWC Family Organization, p. 9, her brother mentioned only the births of Henry and Lucy and said his sister Eliza had only two children. Since he went to Utah with the L.D.S. church, Phineas may not even have known about Charles, who either died early or is not Eliza and Salmon's child. We know about him only because he appeared on the 1850 Census with them. |
