Eliza and Salmon C. Hall were on the 1870 Census at Center, Vernon, Missouri. He is 60 and she is 58. On the 1880 Census he is living alone ten miles west across the state line in Fort Scott, Bourbon, Kansas. He is 70 years old and divorced. Since divorce records in Missouri are only published before 1850, the actual divorce record has not been located.
