He was also listed as chorister. Vol 16, 1894-1900, 8 Feb. 1879 (hard to read) Sunday School org. Byron Allred Supt., Alonzo Cook secretary Ward Record, 1879-1895, Teacher’s Meeting held June 15, 1879, Alonzo Cook gave a report of the priesthood meeting. He said they gave good council and advised the brethren to do all they could in building the Logan Temple. Stated there was a good report all through the stake. Teacher’s Meeting held June 23, 1879, another report from Alonzo Cook. Feb 4, 1884 “Mr Alonzo Cook of Swan Creek” was missed in the visiting. Feb. 16, 1890 "Bro. Alonzo Cook felt well in expressing his feelings in common with the brethren of the Quroum. Showing the necessity of being faithful in all our duties…. It was moved and seconded that Bro. “Lonzo Cook” be appointed to represent the district at the next High Priests Meeting in Paris." Related a circumstance in the life of Bro. Rich in reading character and being able to give counsel to those who needed counsel(.) encouraged the brethren to faithfulness in the discharge their duties. Feb. 13, 1903, H P Minutes, Garden City, Bro. Alonzo Cook felt well when he was in the line of duty, and hoped we may remain faithful…Bro. David s. Cook hoped we all would be blessed of the Lord. V Emil wrote Wed. June 13, 1894 (Des News 49:29) “Deputy Marshals Cook and Davis dropped in on us last week and arrested Alonzo Cook of this place for adultery. He gave bonds in the sum of $500 to appear when wanted.” “Hyrum Cook and family and some friends have taken a trip to Star Valley, Wyo. They are expected back today.”

His record of his mother: “She said, a few days before her death, that through all her suffering, hardships and sacrifices for the Gospel, she had never wanted to go back. She was kind, well educated, and spoke perfect English. She was a good nurse and endured patiently. She died 18 May 1896 in Garden City."
