All concerned doing well.” Signed by the correspondent “Columbia.” (Reprinted Bear Lake Stake Manuscript History, Church History Library, LR 583 2) Her birth recorded in Garden City, 28 July 1894, (Family History Library film 7,170, Garden City Ward Records) NAME Her name throughout her life was known by her family as Charlotte B. Cook. Even her children weren't sure what the B. meant. However, in official records such as her birth record and on her Salt Lake Temple Card her full name of Charlotte Bryson Cook was recorded. (Temple Card #2483, Book F 1, p. 102, in possession of Janet Porter.) LDS CHURCH Baptism: 9 August 1902 at Garden City, Utah (Garden City Ward Records, Family History Library film 7,170. Also on Woodruff Ward Records, Family History Library film 27,421. Also listed on her Salt Lake Temple Card. Endowment: 9 December 1914, Salt Lake Temple, the day she and her husband were sealed. Children in the household are William L., age 14 born July 1885 in Utah; Elizabeth J. age 12, born Jan 1888 in Utah; Bertha B. age 10, born Dec. 1889 in Utah; Newel B. age 8, born April 1892 in Utah; and Charlotte B. age 5, born July 1894 in Utah. 1910 CENSUS: Sarah T. Cook, Woodruff, Utah. She is 42 years old. Children are William L., age 24 and single; Bertha age 20 and single; Newell age 15 and single; Charlotte age 16 and single. WOODRUFF: "Lottie B Cook Dickson, daughter of William and Sarah Bryson, born 28 July 1894 in Garden City. Notes: Received 1/3/15 (after her marriage). Married to Orlando Dickson. Removed to Garden City 3/22." (Woodruff Ward Record #498.) We know she actually moved to Garden City earlier because Norma was born there 11 November 1921. She had moved back to Woodruff by 20 February 1923 when Velma was born. ROY, UTAH She and Orlando moved to Roy in the late 1940's, when the cold winters in Woodruff became unbearable. In her mother's obituary in 1953, Charlotte was recorded by her nickname Lottie: "Mrs. Orlando (Lottie) Dickson, Roy." (Deseret News 2 Jan 1953, p. MARRIAGE To Orlando Dickson 20 October 1914 at Paris, Idaho. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on December 9. Orlando was born 18 March 1893 at Woodruff, Rich, Utah, the son of Albert Dickson and Sarah Emily Francom. He died 18 March 1974 at Provo, Utah.
