Note | BIRTH Orlando Dickson was born 18 Mar 1893 (Woodruff Ward Records, Family History Library film 027,421) He is listed in Woodruff Ward Record #661 as the son of "Benjamin Dickson and Emily Francom." Albert's nickname in town was Ben, probably because his uncle Albert Henry or "Al" Dickson also lived in town. Apparently people forgot his real name. NICKNAME For most of his life Orlando was known as Sy Dickson. Few people would have recognized his real name, just as they thought his father's name was Ben Dickson instead of Albert. Dickson, Brigham City; Max C. Dickson, Sandy; Mrs. Gale (Bertha) McKinnon, Randolph; Mrs. Norma Sims, Roy; and Mrs. Robert (Maxine) Nelson, Las Vegas. Charlotte was born 28 July 1894 in Garden City, Rich, Utah, the daughter of William and Sarah Tryphena (Bryson) Cook. She died 15 October, 1968 at Provo, Utah.
