Will dated, 20 April 1786: "I give and bequeath to my beloved daughter Sarah Churchwell five pound besides what I have given her before."
2. Town Clerk, Washington land records, 3:323. "Jonathan & Sarah Churchill of Litchfield" signed a deed dated 12 April 1791 divesting themselves of any interest in the property of their, 'honored father, James Burgess late of said Washington, deceased.'"
