Historical Society, FHL book 974.6 M2r, Vol 1, p. 38.) It was noted in "The Churchill Family of America" that he died in the Revolutionary War. He and his brother Jonathan are recorded as Revolutionary War enlistees, but it is likely all the brothers enlisted as well. (Sons of the American Revolution application, 506115. Also see, Connecticut Men in the Revolution, 60,481.) DEATH: Died in the Revolution ("Churchill Family of America," by Gardner A. Churchill, p. 344) Since he is not found in any record after 1776, he must have died in the war.
