Note | BIRTH Oliver's birth is not recorded in Woodbury Vital Records. In his Revolutionary War Pension Application his widow stated his birth was 15 April 1764 at Bethlehem, Litchfield, Connecticut. However, family records recorded his birth 15 April 1762. Since his sister's birth three months later in July of 1764 is recorded in Woodbury Vital Records, she probably remembered the day and month, but forgot he was born in 1762, the traditional date in family records and in the book "The Churchill Family in America," p. 368.
