Will dated, 20 April 1786: "I give and bequeath to my beloved daughter Irene Lemon five pound besides what I have given her before."

The deed is for the dwelling and half of the barn all in Washington, Litchfield Ct. which belonged to our honored father James Burgess late of Wash.. 12 Apr 1791. HER MOTHER'S PROBATE: Sarah Dunk Burgess (Found by Bryson C. Cook at the Litchfield County Courthouse Nov. 2010). Dated January, 1796: "We the subscribers being appointed distributors on the estate of Sarah Burgess late of Washington, deceased, have distributed the same. Heirs named, each to receive £8.13.1: James Burgess, Ebenezer Burgess, Mary Troop, Hannah Lovejoy, Irene Lemmon. Also named were grand-heirs 7 children of Jonathan and Sarah (Burgess) Churchill and the 7 children of her brother Daniel Dunk.

DEATH: Helen Shove Boyd, transcriber, Inscriptions on all stones still standing in existing cemeteries in the town of Washington, Connecticut (Salem, Massachusetts : Higginson, 1997), Old Judea Cemetery, 4. "In memory of Mrs. Irene wife of Mr. Robert Lemmon who died June 24, 1813, aged 52."
