"Elisha Frisbie of Branford advises those whose accounts are of a year's duration to settle, October 16, 1762." ("Genealogical Data from New Haven Newspapers," p. 134, by Kenneth Scott.) BETHLEHEM He and his wife were received into the Bethlehem church in 1767: "Elisha Frisby and wife of Branford received 1767." (Bethlehem Congregational Church records, Vol. 1, FHL film 3803.) His brothers James and Jacob and their wives had already come from Branford to Bethlehem four years earlier and his brother Amos had come two years earlier.
