Note	BIRTH: "Edward Frisbie of Branford and his Descendants," Vol 1, by Nora G. Frisbie, FHL book 929.273 F917fn, Vol. 1, p. 69. POULTNEY, VERMONT He was in Poultney as early as 1792. ("The Frisbee-Frisbie Genealogy: Edward Frisbye of Branford, CT, by Edward S. Frisbee, p. 62, (FHL book 929.273 F917) In that year he purchased a farm on which he lived until his death. (p. 145) He was one of the substantial men of the town. A Congregationalist, held offices in the town. 1800 CENSUS: Poultney Vermont with household of 1 male under 10, 1 male 10-16, one 26-45. Three females 16-26, one female 26-45 and one over 45.
