Reference is Wallingford Vital Records FATHER'S WILL: Samuel Jr. John and Mary received the major portion of the estate. Finally the statement: "And for the remainder of my estate I would gladly have disposed of it in a particular way but by reason of ye difficulties I am under I will that all my dues being discharged as above said all my estate be equally divided among my other nine children in the best way that may be. The nine children are Judith, Isaac, Joseph, Hope, Israel, Mabel, Benjamin, Ephraim and Elizabeth..."
