Note	BIRTH: "Ancestors of Robert Harry McIntire and Helen Annette McIntire," by Robert Harry McIntire, Gateway Press, Baltimore, 1980" p. 7. Birth record not found, but she was 24 in 1705. Also recorded in "Families of Ancient New Haven," Vol 1, by D L. Jacobus, 1923, p. 436. Ref. is Wallingford Vital Records. That she is the daughter of Henry Cook is confirmed in land records: "Joseph Preston and Jane my wife, of Wallingford" sold land to Daniel hall, Jr. "which came by our ancestors as yet not layed out." Dated Jan. 28, 1724 (Wallingford Land Records, 4:520. Her sisters Mary and Hannah sold their portions later and both John Hall and Henry Cook, their grandfathers were named. (6:95, 7:141)
