Note	BIRTH Vital Records of Waterbury, Hartford, Ct (Waterbury and Watertown were not separated until about 1780.) "James Egleston (no wife named) "their first child, a daughter named Lydia was born Nov. 16, 1773." (Family History Library film 1412840, item 1, p. 126.) Vital Records for Watertown, Litchfield, Connecticut, Family History Library film 1521444. In this record it says Lydia is a male, born 1768, but that isn't likely. A second record for Lydia is the one recorded here. Although the information is confusing, I believe it means Lydia the daughter of James Eggleston was married in Bethlehem 12 May 1793 and died in Westford, Ostego, NY 31 Nov. 1838. WESTFORD, NY Charles and Lydia Webster were admitted to the Congregational Church in Westford Sept 13, 1812. She was "removed by death." He removed September 1854 "by letter to Illinois." (Town of Westford Congregational Church Records, Admissions, p. 165, Family History Library film 503648, item 2.) Note	Bethlehem Congregational Church Records, Vol. 1., p. 33: "Charles Webster married Lydia Eggleston May 12, 1793." (FHL film 3803, item 1, p. 33.) Ancestry.com Family Data. (See notes for Lydia) SEALING: On 30 July 1965 there was a Sealing to Spouse in the Los Angeles Temple. Lydia's Baptism and Endowment by Adah Webster Tewes, FHL film 458489. However, Charles was never baptized. In that case, sealing should follow other endowments and will be done again (JSP 4-30-07)
