Note	WESTFORD, NY: They moved to Westford before Sept. 1812 as found in church records. Charles & Lydia and their children Jesse and wife Mary and James admitted to the Westford Congregational Church between 1812 and 1833. Charles and Lydia were admitted Sept 13, 1812. She was "removed by death." He removed September 1854 "by letter to Illinois." (Town of Westford Congregational Church Records, Admissions, p. 165, FHL film 503648, item 2.) CHURCH RECORDS: Charles Webster was listed as subscriber to the Congregational Church, 1820-1879, but on a list before 1818. (Town of Westford Congregational Church Records,FHL film 503648, item 3.) The amount was $3.00 for an annual subscription. He was appointed trustee in place of Jared Hubbard on Sept. 23, 1830 and released 18 Sept. 1833 when his term expired. (about p. 10) ORDINANCES: On 5 Dec. 1929 Charles was Endowed, but no baptism is recorded. Sealed to spouse 8 March 1934 in the Salt Lake Temple. (FHL film 1239586, ref. 23642.) I'm sure it was the same couple because dates are the same, but without a baptism I will redo all the ordinances. (JSP 4-30-07)
Note	Bethlehem Congregational Church Records, Vol. 1., p. 33: "Charles Webster married Lydia Eggleston May 12, 1793." (FHL film 3803, item 1, p. 33.) Ancestry.com Family Data. (See notes for Lydia) SEALING: On 30 July 1965 there was a Sealing to Spouse in the Los Angeles Temple. Lydia's Baptism and Endowment by Adah Webster Tewes, FHL film 458489. However, Charles was never baptized. In that case, sealing should follow other endowments and will be done again (JSP 4-30-07)
