Note	BRANFORD RECORDS: Francis was on the 1667 Church C ovenant. PROBATE: New Haven Probate District, No. 11,027, Connecticut St. Library. Date 1712, Inventory only. "Judge Rollin U. Tyler of Deep River says that the first Francis Tyler of Connecticut died in 1712, as shown to Judge Tyler more than 30 years ago, by the Probate. WILL: Dated March 4, 1712 and probated on 7 April 1712. (FHL microfilm 0005295 under Town of New Haven, Connecticut, Register of Probate Records, Vol. 4, 1712-1719.) His two sons Samuel and Nathaniel are mentioned as legatees and devisees of all his "housings and lands whatsoever." His brother Peter and friend Ebenezer Frissbee, both of Branford, were the executors. Daughters Abigail, Mary, Sarah and Anne Tyler--all "nonage." Sarah was to receive the bed "which was her Mother's," implying that wife Sarah had died by then and explaining why his wife was not mentioned in the will. Mentions his brother Peter as "one of his executors and overseers of his children in their 'nonage.'" He mentioned an uncle Jonathan Page (his wife being Sarah Page, probably her brother.) His inventory was appraised at 267 pounds, including 500 acres.
Note	The first child listed in this marriage apparently is from the first marriage, although not proven. The second marraige to Sarah Page took place a year or so before Mary's birth in 1689.
