Note	PROBATE OF HER FATHER: John Hand Senior died before 24 January 1660/61, the date the inventory of his estate was presented at East Hampton. His will mentions but does not name his wife, but names four children: John, Stephen, Joseph and Mary and five younger unnamed children to be provided for by his wife, from what he leaves her. (G-1:178) ("A Hand Family," Harriet W. Hodge, p. 3-8 "The Early Hand Family," )
Note	There were two daughters born in this marriage.
