HIS FATHER'S PROBATE Probate Court for Ashabel Cone, late of West Stockbridge held 20 April 1802. Administration will be by Ashbel Cone, yeoman of West Stockbridge and Erastus Rowley, gentleman of Richmond. (Berkshire County MA Probates, #2160, FHL film 873,486, p. 53.) On p. 185 at Lenox, dated 2 november 1802 a trust is established by the Administrators. They are to publish information in the newspapers. On p. 227 Eunice Cone of West Stockbridge, widow of the deceased is allowed to be guardian of Victor (or Nictew,) above 14 years. Also she will be guardian of Sally, under 14 years, daughter of Ashbel Cone.
