Note	BIRTH: Listed as Timothy, son of Timothy, Farmington Vital Records LRI, p. 2. Also found in Barbour Collection of Farmington Vital Records, F.H.L. book 974.6 V2w1, Vol 12, p. 314. Mentioned in his father's will: Connecticut Probate Vol 3 "Timothy Porter of Farmington." His son Timothy was administrator: Feb. 1743. MARRIAGE: There was probably a second wife because he had children again when he was 60. EDUCATION: He graduated from Yale and was deacon of the church in Farmington. He died childless. N.E.H.G.R., Vol 9, p. 54, "Porter Family," F.H.L. book 974 B2ne, Vol 9. DEATH: "Church Records of Farmington in Connecticut," Vol 40 p. 157, Reprinted in N.E.G.H.R. FHL book 974 B2ne. "Departed this life Deacon Timothy Porter." Also found in Old Cemetery Records of Farmington: "Deacon Timothy Porter died July 16, 1780 age 77." Will dated Sept 11, 1770, Farmington. He gives to his cousin Timothy his house, barn and homestead (in Farmington?.) To his cousins Thomas, John & Ebenezer he bequeaths all his property in Cambridge and Cornwall "their father owed him." He names his sister Martha Smith and Abigail Porter "now dwelling with me." Timothy was named executor. and John Porter Jr. guardian of the estate which was taken Nov. 14, 1781. John Porter was appointed guardian of Selah Porter, minor. ("Town of Farmington Probate," F.H.L. film 4,207, Vol 2, p. 150, 218, 237.) Selah must have been his only living child. Ebenezer, b. 1742 were the sons of Ebenezer and Anna.
