Note | BIRTH: "The Family of William Frisbey," pp. 114 of the book "Unclassified Frisbie Families," Vol. II, by Nora G. Frisbie, FHL book 929.273 F917fa V.2 1820 CENSUS: Bloom Twp, Morgan, Ohio. Three males: one under 10, one 16-18, one 26-45. Three females: Two under 10 and one 16-26. One person engaged in agriculture. 1830 CENSUS: Bern Twp., Athens, Ohio: Two males: 1 under 5 and one 30-39. No females. Since he had a large family of small children and a wife at that time, perhaps the Bern census is not for him, even though it is the right name and he is in the right time period. DEATH: "He died 7-3-1871 (thrown from a buggy); int. Joy, Ohio." ("The Family of William Frisbey," pp. 116 of the book "Unclassified Frisbie Families," Vol. II, by Nora G. Frisbie, FHL book 929.273 F917fa V.2. Since there is no such place as Joy, Ohio, I assume it was meant Mercer County, Illinois. WILL: Children were named in his will, including one person named Ward. Since no birth is known and no surname was given in the will, he may not be a child. |
