Note | SECOND MARRIAGE: Probate guardianship #1592, Amasa P. Cook son of Amasa 2nd is assigned a guardian at the time of his mother Sally Cook's marriage. In the same probate Sally Baldwin, the former widow of Amasa, gave her, "… consent to have Phineas Cook the guardian for my son Amasy P. Cook. Phineas Cook of Goshen and Andrew Hand of Litchfield paid $500 bond. Phineas is to be the guardian of Amasa P. Cook who is 13 years old.
