ORDINANCES: FHL film 458829. She was sealed to Peter Welton and Abigail Porter, daughter of Nathaniel Porter of Waterbury, the wrong mother. The sealings will have to be done again. (JSP 4-19-07)

We know Elizabeth Daton was alive and was married to David Daton November 11, 1776 when her brother Job's Probate was published: Miscellaneous Probate Records for Woodbury and Waterbury, Conn. Vol 7, p. 157, (Family History Library film 6174) November 11, 1776, Peter Welton appointed administrator for his son Job who died intestate. It was noted "Job was of Waterbury." Distribution was to his siblings: Ruth wife to Mr. Samuel ?, Peter Welton Jr., Abigail wife to Andrew Bostwich, Elizabeth wife to David Daton and Mary Welton.
