Note	BIRTH: Birth date is on his headstone inscription: "David T. Taylor born June 12, 1805." Noted to be of Newton, CT on his marriage record in 1828. MARRIAGE His second marriage in 1858, the year after Emily died. CENSUS 1830 census , Newtown, Fairfield, CT. Toucey Taylor living next to David presumably his father 1840 U.S. Census, David Taylor living in Newtown, Fairfield, Connecticut. Since he is listed as David with no other David living nearby, his father may have died. 1850 U.S. Census, David T. Taylor living in South Haven, Van Buren, Michigan. DEATH: Headstone Inscription, Taylor Cemetery, Bangor, Van Buren, Michigan: "David T. Taylor born June 12, 1805, died Aug. 11, 1885." Buried in the same row are Jefferson Taylor who died as a soldier at Grafton Virginia Sept 6, 1861, born about 1838 and Eli G. Taylor who died in the Civil War at Philadelphia PA July 21, 1864, born about 1836. Both were sons of David and Emily.
