Note	Named as father of Eunice Barns Churchill in Litchfield Land records. (Litchfield Land Records, Quit Claim 15:593.) On Nov 7, 1793 Oliver and Eunice Churchill sold land belonging to Eunice from her father: Oliver and Eunice Churchill of Bethlehem sold land to Nathan Smedley of Litchfield. Oliver and Eunice forever give all right, estate, title, interest and demand whatsoever on the thirds of dower of the widow Gift or Gist Barns, being the widow of our father Abel Barns, late of said Litchfield, deceased. Contains house, barn and lands lying in said Litchfield which would fall to us by our late father’s will at his decease. Signed 7 July 1793. Witnesses Abner Everit and David Ambler.
