The town clerk, Mathew Grant, recorded the death of two children and listed their father as Samuel POND. These were likely the first two children. Children's birthdates vary by one year in two records, Windsor V.R. GS#2983, Item 5, p. 236 and Colonial Colonists of the U.S. GS#973/D2mg, pp. 582-3. TIB card lists Mrs. Sarah Pond Ord. 1903, but it cannot be verified form the actual temple record, neither in Salt Lake or St. George.
