NOTES: GS#973/V25c, American marriage Rec. before 1669 in the Colonies lists #4 Samuel's mg. 3 Feb. 1669, while Branford Vital Records lists 5 Jan 1669. Also #3 Isaac, the 20th May 1667. TIB lists 1 May 1667. Windor vital Rec. lists date as 10 May 1667. We will use the Windsor Vital Rec. date. The town clerk, Mathew Grant, recorded the death of two children and listed their father as Samuel POND. These were likely the first two children. Children's birthdates vary by one year in two records, Windsor Vital Records, GS#2983, Item 5, p. 236 and Colonial Colonists of the U.S. GS#973/D2mg, pp. 582-3. TIB card lists Mrs. Sarah Pond Ord. 1903, but it cannot be verified form the actual temple record, neither in Salt Lake or St. George. Mother and Daughter Sarah - written Sara also on the Windsor Vital Rec.

PILGRIM: He came with his brother Daniel in 1630 in Winthrop's fleet. (GS#973/A1, #136)
