HARTFORD, CT Named again in 1637 as one of 77 soldiers, most of whom were from Hartford, in a campaign against the Pequot Indians. In 1639 he is in the land records of Hartford: House lot #54 in the village. <i>(William Cornwall and his Descendants</i>, by Edward E. Cornwall, M.D., New Haven, The Tuttle Morehouse and Taylor Co., 1901, p. 3) MIDDLETOWN, CT In 1650 or 1651 he removed to Middletown<i>. </i>On February 30,1637 when land records were officially recorded, he was shown to be the owner of 903 acres at Middletown.
