It is Monroe, Jasper, Illinois in Philo Hodge of Roxbury, CT, FHL 929.273 H662m, p. 141, quoting Essom's Pioneers. 1880 CENSUS: Morgan County, Utah (Ed 34, sheet 17.) 1900 CENSUS: Morgan County Utah (ED 112, sheet 5) Occupation, farmer. WYOMING: He went to settle Big Basin County, Wyoming with his brother Judson who died there. DEATH: He lived with his son Wilden Reed and wife Anona in Ogden for many years before his death. The children in that family remember him well. (Letter from Paul Porter to Janet Porter 12-24-04.) His death and burial at Porterville are also recorded in Philo Hodge of Roxbury, CT, FHL 929.273 H662m, p. 141.
