Note	WETHERSFIELD March 2, 1642 John Deming/Demon was recorded in Wethersfield as one of the jurors of the "particular" court. In 1640 he purchased land at Glastonbury across the river, but never lived there and sold it in 1668. (p. 2-5) On Dec. 2, 1645 he is listed as Jn Demon a deputy. Again he was a deputy in 1656, recorded as "John Dement." Listed under several names, "Deming prevailing at the last."
