In addition to those we have named are following: Enoch Niles, Rufus Blodget, Isaac Waldo, Judge Hopkins, John Hopkins, Deacon Ebenezer Rice, Robert Porter, Dea. Gamaliel Loomis, Samuel Hayes, Dea. Abial Lindley,Moses Lyon, Uriel Chapin, Asher Bull, Bohan Hills, Stephen Prentiss." (www.rootsweb.com/nysteube/guy/pg8.html) DEATH: Old Cemetery, Prattsburg, Steuben, New York: "Hon. Robert Porter d. 20 Aug 1847, age 74 y. "Judge Porter died in 1847. He was for many years one of the most prominenty citizens of the town, and was a man of liberal education, of much literary taste, and an efficient and conscientious magistrate. The annalist of the town says, 'He probably filled more offices of trust among this people than any other man of his day. Our early town recordsshow that all the most reponsible offices within our bounds have from time to time been filled by him."
