Note	At the end of the Revolutionary War, Charles moved his family to Upper Canada. REVOLUTIONARY WAR: Enlisted 1774/5 by Capt. Denton. Occupation mason 1776 joined the loyalist Kings Orange Rangers, age 21 under John Bayard 60th Reg. of foot. 1776, Newark. Deserted Sept 16 from Capt. Robt Johnston Co. 1st Bagttalion, York forces. Oct, 1777, Sailed north with British expedition Fort Clinton & Montgomery 17 Dec. 1777, with King's Orange Rangers at Post Paulus Hook, (Jersey City, N.J.)
